Wednesday evenings we have been studying the book of Exodus. We have about ten people showing up for our Wednesday night Bible study.
Last Sunday the children learned about healing of the lame man in Acts 3:1-12, this Sunday they learned about Judas betraying Jesus from all four gospels. The adults have been studying the gospel of John.
Pastor Talbert’s morning last week was “Saving The Lost At All Cost.” Scripture was read out of John 3:16, 17, 18.
His evening message was “The Power of Praise” Psalms 150 and 145 and also II Samuel 6:14-15.
This week our message was “Who Is Your God?” Who Are We Serving?” Matthew 6:24 says that you can not serve two masters. There is no in between, no gray area. It is on or off, black or white, good or evil. Reading of scriptures was from romans 6:15 and Ephesians 4:27-5:8. We should make no excuses for sin or should ever want to turn back to it.
Our evening service had a special singing by Aloma, Larry and Virginia and Virginia read Psalms 121 for us. Our evening message was “Making Beautiful Melody Together – Working As A Church Body” Acts 2:41-47.
We would love to have you come and be part of our services at 205 N.E. 14th Ave. We hold services Wednesday at 7 p.m., Sunday school at 10 a.m., morning worship at 11 a.m. and evening worship at 7 p.m.
Remember lets all live in beautiful melody together making a pleasing sound unto the Lord with our singleness of heart to serve him and carry out the duties He has called us to do! If we try to do our own thing it is just a bunch of racket!
