“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it,” Psalms 118:24.
We had a very good Sunday school lesson. We are in Acts 9. We move slowly for there is a lot of good stuff in there, kinda like meat and potatoes. Saul became Paul in this chapter. Ananias was afraid to deliver God’s message to Saul because of his past, but God told him in verse 15, “Go thy way; for he is a chosen vessel unto me” to bear my name before the Gentiles and Kings and the children of Israel. God expects obedience.
Be an example of the God you claim you are serving, I Timothy 4 and 11, in all things you do – all. What kind of Christian do wo show our fellow man?
Someone said, “We need to live, breathe and die God; be a model of the real thing.”
Pastor Gary said the evening service was going to be a special one. No other service would be exactly the same, music, testimonies and special music, each one is different.
Songs were by Dakota, Missy, Linda Roberts, Betty H., Bevy and Betty Hale, Linda P. and Kristen.
Gary’s message was about getting ready for a revival. The church needs to be of one accord, prayed up and invite the Holy Spirit into the service and pray for the house to be filled with a mighty rushing wind.
Rev. 2:4 – Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee because thou hast left thy first love.
When you are going into a revival, make sure you find your first love again. Sometimes we drift away, not meaning to, but not recognizing we are.
