We started the worship service this morning with a song. The words were very true, there will be no sorrow, sickness, or pain in heaven .
A group from the church went to Branson on Saturday to help with the cleanup from the tornado. We were blessed by the people down there as we worked. We talked to one lady that her house had been picked up by the storm, moved off the foundation by ten foot and set back down while she was still in it, but she wasn’t hurt. She was just praising God and had a great outlook on life. There was another lady that we cleaned up some trees that had been destroyed on her property that was so appreciative of what we did for her. Also Panda House in Branson was feeding all the volunteers down there for free, so when you are down there be sure to support them. Pastor Buddy brought us another good message from Acts 4-1-13 on no other name but Jesus and about being bold. As a Christian our job is to get the Word out to other people and not be ashamed of who and what we are . The world wants equal rights for everyone and everything except when it comes to Christianity, then they complain that we are fanatics. There is no other way to heaven except through the name of Jesus and His blood. That is the only way to salvation, without Jesus we have no hope of eternal life. We all want the promises of God, but a lot of the time we don’t want to obey what God tells us, we want to do things our way instead of God’s way. If you want the promises you must have obedience . We want the presence and the power of God in our life but are not willing to put in the time of praying to have it? We have to make one choice for Christ, accept or reject Him. Pastor Buddy does a great job every Sunday and if you don’t have a church home please come and visit us one Sunday, you will be blessed.
