Sunday morning service was led by the Praise Team. They do an awesome job of leading us in praise songs.
Little Miss Emma Sue Burton was welcomed by Walnut Grove Church. She was born February 22, 2012.
Brother Roberts brought the message from Genesis 5:25, “What Are Your Children Inheriting?”
Sunday evening service was our 4th Sunday singing. We enjoyed lots of good music and singing.
Alexis Swearengin spent the day Friday with Meme Nora and Papa Bob Edwards. Others visiting at other times during the week were Shelden and Kendra Walker, Sheila Grey, Miranda Milligan and Shawn Swearengin.
Family gathering to celebrate Shelden Walker’s 17th birthday last Monday night were Toby and Jacinda Sheppard, Kendra Walker, Miranda Milligan, Alexis and Shawn Swearengin, Bob and Nora Edwards. After dinner, Alexis helped Shelden blow out the candles on his cake and pumpkin pie and then open his gifts.
Nora Edwards enjoyed visiting by phone one evening with Ethel McCallie of Nowata, Oklahoma.
Jerry and Suanne Sutherland spent the weekend in Springfield visiting Dianna, Cassidy and Caitlyn Bernhard and CloElla Leverenz. Also, while there they got to visit with CloElla’s grandchildren, Mallory, Christopher and Annie Brunner of St. Louis.
Those visiting in our home during the week were, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Pauline Okheyson, Donna Bannister and Bevy Moore.
I enjoyed the week doing lots of celebrating for my 71st birthday.
We have been enjoying the nice weather and looking forward to gardening and raising lots of good veggies.
Something to remember, “Fathers love your wives for that is the greatest gift you can give your children.”
