Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after the singing. He read Romans 4:1-8 for the devotion. Pastor David prayed for the prayer requests then we were dismissed to class.
Please pray for Jr. Berry, Betty Satterfield, Rick Bailey and family, John Little and family, Dana Brazeal and family, Dara and Ernest Strong, Cody Strong, Roberta Clayton and family, unsaved, unspoken, all bereaved, military, country and leaders, each other, cancer patients and those I didn’t get written down. Please pray for Pastors and Preachers everywhere.
We sang Happy Birthday to Rick Bailey, Shirley Riely and myself. We then sang to Linda Mitchell whose children surprised her by attending church with her. We hope they come visit again.
We enjoyed all our visitors and missed those who were gone.
We studied about Jesus bringing light to a completely dark world in Sunday school.
In Children’s Church the children talked about their favorite Bible stories and we sang songs.
Zack and Blayne Mendel, Hunter Adams and Macee Breeding did the penny march for Camp Piland. John Little took up the tithes and offering.
Zack Mendel, Hunter Adam, Austin and Sara Maggard sang a special.
Pastor David sang and preached from John 10:19-30 for God’s message on how Jesus knows his sheep and they know His voice and follow Him.
Sunday evening Pastor David sang then preached from Revelations 5:1-12. No man is worthy to open the book. The Lamb of God is the only one worthy. We will worship and honor Him in heaven, but should also be doing it now.
I didn’t get the column written last week. We enjoyed our Valentine Party Sunday evening with good food and fellowship. Ella Faye Mitchell figured out the word scramble very quickly. Wanda Goss guessed both candy games. Congratulations to her on her new grandbabies.
