Sunday morning service was opened with prayer then the Praise Group led the congregation in some praise songs.
Brother Roberts brought the message from Ephesians 5:22-25, “God’s Family for the Wife.”
The evening service was opened with prayer then a congregational hymn then we enjoyed a movie of praise, “How Great Is Our God?”
Bob and Nora Edwards enjoyed having their great grand daughter, Alexis Swearengin, spend the day with them Friday. Her parents Miranda and Shawn, visited awhile when they came to pick her up.
Nora Edwards visited on Sunday after church with Arleen Henningsen. Arleen celebrated her birthday on Sunday. Happy Birthday, Arleen and hope you have many more.
Delmar and I visited with Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams on Sunday afternoon.
On Friday afternoon, Shawn, Summer, Caidence and Conner Johnson came to visit us and I got to spoil the babies some.
Friday evening, Pauline Okheysen and I met Barb and Miracle Breshears at the Ava Theater and watched the movie “Joyfull Noise”. It was good and we had a good time.
Earnie and Helen Cook came to visit us on Saturday evening. Helen cut my hair while Delmar and Earnie ate supper then visited.
Delmar and I stopped by and visited Gary and Bevy Moore and Eldon Bice one afternoon.
We heard that Robin and Lowell Hutson are the proud grandparents of a big baby boy in Kansas. Congratulations to the family.
I have been busy working on a baby quilt for another great grandbaby due in April. This one will make me five greats. Lots of spoiling to do. Such fun for grandparents.
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Jarrett Dougherty’s wife.
I talked to Aunt Violet Morris and they are doing pretty good. She still has a little trouble with the coughing. I hope to get back up there to visit really soon.
