After Sunday school we heard special songs from Ella Faye Mitchell and Branetta McNiece, who were accompanied by Lola Mayberry and Sandra Davis on piano.
Our morning message this crisp Sunday morning was entitled, “Clinging To The Root of Bitterness!” taken from Hebrews 12:15, we discussed the choices we make and what we choose to “cling to” in life as well as how it effects our spiritual attitudes and goals. If there is bitterness, anger, strife, envy or some such debilitating malady in your life, submit it to the Lord, completely and go forward in His peace. You will never regret that choice.
Our evening message was “Our Identity in Christ” from our text Ephesians 2:10. We are his workmanship, in His image, His “masterpiece” if you will. He became our salvation, that we might enjoy a personal relationship with Him. He offers us, “His” righteousness, His justification, His adoption; whatever identity we have rests wholly in Him.
While we had a nice group, there was still room for you, come be our guest.
