Singing began the Sunday services, followed by so many prayer requests. The list grows weekly, some are gaining from continued health issues, too many with cancer, several have lost loved ones and as always, our church families and the lost. Each one is important and the Lord deals with each one accordingly.
The morning message was in II Corinthians, speaking about walking in the flesh.
Mae Cox is not able to be out in the winter weather, however, she always keeps up with everyone by phone. Her visitors last week were Donna Nichols and Lauren Hall, Lisa Johnson and Jesse. She received a call from Jack Haden, telling her Jim Haden was in the hospital to have surgery. She spoke with brother, Thetis Pruiett, in Texas, not doing very well. A belated happy birthday to Freeda Richards, on Ground Hog Day, wonder who saw their shadow?
Bessie Hall is getting around a little now, having these as visitors last week: Jeff and Ronda Elliott, Kay Hutchison, Kim Clements, J.C. Hall, Vicky Burnett, Jewell Elliott, Jo Stephens, Ronnie and Pat Lansdown.
Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Tom Elliott this past week was Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Elliott and children, MaKayla and Logan, James Elliott. Jewell had a good visit with her cousin, Edgie Coble, in California by phone.
Harold and Kay Hutchison visited in West Plains with Harlin and Shirley Hutchison, Friday.
Martin Hathcock visited Harold Hutchison, Tuesday.
