Sunday morning service was opened with instrumental music including mandolin, fiddle, banjo, bass, guitar and piano.
Claude Robertson and Cindy Smith sang a beautiful song for a special then Tillie Fowler sang a beautiful special too.
Brother Robers brought the message from Romans 4:19-21, “Building Strong Families through Strong Faith.”
Brother Cody Prock brought the evening message from I Samuel 17:17, “What Voice Are You Listening To?”
Visiting on Monday evening with Bob and Nora Edwards were Toby and Jacinda Edwards, Shelden and Kendra Walker,
Miranda Milligan, and Alexis Swearengin. Nora Edwards and Jacinda Sheppard spent the day Tuesday in Springfield going to doctors appointments. They enjoyed visiting with John and Janice Lumb at one office and Bob Melton at another office. On Tuesday, Delmar and I met with Jack, Barb and Miracle Breshears, Bob and Linda McCleary and Carol and Don, for Linda’s 65th birthday. On Tuesday, we went to the Senior Center for lunch and visited with Jack and Barb Breshears, Chris Breshears, Taylor and Tinley Dry, I also, enjoyed visiting with a good friend, Juanita Dougherty and Herb Sanders. We enjoyed a delicous lunch of Cashew Chicken.
Aunt Violet Morris was taken to the hospital for tests then back to the nursing home.
Uncle Hugh Morris is doing about the same.We spent all day in Springfield on Friday at doctor appointments. I will be having outpatient surgery on Tuesday.
On Friday evening, we visited with Keith and Donna Bannister, Shawn, Summer, Caidence and Conner Johnson.
On Friday, Mamma and I visited with Earnie and Helen Cook, Earnie’s mother, Roxie Cook. Swearengin passed away on Thursday morning. We are sorry for the loss of a wonderful lady.
Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams came to visit us on Saturday.
On Sunday we went to church then Kim Huff came home with us for the afternoon, she and I attended the visitation for Roxie Cook. Swearengin. Then we went to church Sunday evening.
Remember, doubt always puts your circumstances between you and God but, faith puts God between you and your circumstances.
