Roy Hampton opened Sunday school by reading the 3rd chapter of St. John verses 5-17 and led in prayer. Lee Hampton was with us, but Joe Lafferty taught the adult class in St. John 18. The 19th chapter is starting the chapters of the crucifixion. Not too many chapter left in the book of St. John. We finally had our questions and answers today. We asked more for next Sunday. Roy Hampton took up the morning offering. Ronnie Thomas asked the blessing on the offering. We had congregational singing. Sue Sisco did a special. We had a couple from the Gideons, Bro. Jim Norman and is wife, they gave a wonderful talk. The Gideons do marvelous work. We had altar prayer for the lost and sick. Wilma Hampton is some better. Lee said she walked a little the other day. Joe Lafferty led the altar prayer. We did an invitational song.

I am so sorry this writer got the churches wrong for the Fifth Sunday Singing. My husband and Bob Huskey discussed it and I still got it wrong. Our apologies. Of course we did have a wonderful crowd anyway and a good singing. We thoroughly enjoyed the singing.
I am so glad our weather is staying so nice. I can’t believe how pleasant January has been. Well, hopefully we will all see each other again on Saturday, February 4th at the Dogwood Nazarene Church.
God bless you all.
Until next time.
