I took my news in last Monday and did a little shopping then I stopped by McDonald’s for a sandwich and met Dwayne and Lora Kay Davis and Sherry Blakey going in and Dwayne bought me my sandwich.
Tara brought Jett last Tuesday and that evening James and Lakota stopped by and played with him before they went to the ball game and then Justin came later and picked Jett up and took him home.
Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey, Doris Morrison and Dorline House all went to Mountain Grove that night to their O.E.S., D.D.G.M visit.
All together on Wednesday I received 1.6 of an inch then Thursday morning I had another .6 and the next morning I had .5 of an inch which gave me 2.25 of an inch of rain total.
Wednesday night Dennis and Sandy Shumate and DJ, Martin Hathcock and Hellen Blakey all went over to Nina Carter’s where we had some homemade vegetable soup and cornbread and after we ate we studied about the basket of gifts and each one us us said what gift God had given us, it was very interesting because we had scripture that told about the gifts.
I baked some bread on Thursday.
I stopped by the nursing home and visited a little Friday and Saturday before I went to town and stopped by Marie Dickey’s before I got my hair cut on Friday.
James and Kendra came by to wait until the girls ballgame started and while they were here Nina Carter came and picked me up and we went to Ozark to the Stained Glass Theatre where we watched “The Return To Belle Plains” and was it ever good to see it. If you can, see it, the last day is February 4. We went and saw Donna Fleetwood before the show.
It was good to see Bessie Hall, Nancy Levan, Carl and Retha Clements in church today.
Sunday night we had singing and refreshments and every thing was good.
Lets keep our sick folks out there in our prayers. It seems like there are so many that had cancer so my special prayer goes out to them.
My sympathy and prayers go out to all who have lost a loved one the last few weeks.
Keep praying for our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training.
