Sunday morning began with instrumental music then prayer requests and prayer. Congregational hymns were then sung while everybody greeted each other. I sang the special this Sunday.
There were several out with sickness and injuries.
Brother Roberts brought the message from Psalm 127:1, “Family Under Attack.”
Donna Gardner had surgery on Thursday and is home doing fine.
On Friday, I took my mom, Nora Hunsaker and my sister, Violet Flair, to Windsor, Mo.where we visited with my Uncle Hugh and Aunt Violet Morris. We also visited with cousins, Howard, Herb and Judie Morris.
On Friday, Donna Bannister, Brent and Synthia Bishop visited with Becky Carter in Nixa, Mo.
I have been busy working on quilts and getting them ready for the quilter.I made a red, white and blue one that turned out really pretty. Then I set one together for Aunt Violet in the star pattern.
I am now working on a crocheted baby blanket.
We are sorry to hear of the passing of Kenneth Keith and Jim Downey both from Mansfield, Mo.
I enjoyed an outing with Stacie, Mahayla, Miley and Lucas Hamby. I always enjoy helping to spoil the little ones.
Visitors in our home this week were, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Stacie Hamby and Pauline Okheyson.
I talked to my sister-in-law, Kathleen Deatherage, and she and my brother, Vern Deatherage have been sick with that bug that is going around. They are okay now but were really sick for a couple of days.
