Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after congregational singing. He read Deuteronomy 7:6-11 for the devotion and dismissed us to class.
The children studied about Noah in Sunday school. In children’s church they all made birthday cards for Pastor David.
Brother Bobby Turley took up the tithes and offerings. Zack, Hunter, Dailyn and Hope did the penny march for Camp Piland.
Specials were done by the children, Dara Strong, Ella Faye Mitchell and Pastor David. They were all a blessing.
Please pray for Doug Ingram, Woody Coonce, Ernest Strong, Ralph Brazeal, Betty and family, Jr. Berry, unspoken, unsaved, cancer patients, bereaved, country, military and each other.
Pastor David preached from James 1:1-8 for God’s message. Jesus sees us through all of our trials and temptations. They help us to grow and teach us patience. They give us faith to know He will be there with us through the next one. Thank God.
We honored Pastor David with a birthday dinner after church Sunday morning. He appreciates all who came, the delicious dinner, cards and gifts. We dismissed our evening service.
