In my absence I have missed a couple of important events. Bro. Nathan Herman had a birthday on the 7th so Happy Birthday, Nate. Bro. Larry was married on the 8th so God bless your union brother.
Last Wednesday night we had a great Bible study over Exodus, chapter 12 and we had 13 attend Bible study.
Sunday morning we started out service by taking up prayer requests. We had 13 people present for Sunday school and had wonderful study over John, chapter 12. After Sunday school we heard testimonies and sang songs. Bro. Norman Talbert brought forth our morning message from Revelation, the first three chapters and various verses. I pray that the churches have an ear to hear the Spirit speak to them and guide them. If we have Jesus we have everything. A crown shall be given to those faithful unto death, I want to be told “well done” by my Lord and I hope we all strive to hear that. We thank God for that message and for Bro. Norm. We had 21 people attend morning service.
Evening service began with Bro. Jeff leading us in prayer. We sang many songs. Specials were sung by Sis. Lena, Bro. Mike, Bro. Roy, Bro. Calem, Bro. Larry and Bro. Lyndon. We enjoyed all the songs and testimonies. Our attendance for the evening was 23. Bro. Roy Hampton brought forth our message, “Signs of the Times.” We appreciate Bro. Roy for being our speaker for the evening and thank God for sending him. Due to unfortuante circumstances Pastor Scott and family resigned from New Hope. We pray that God continues to use their family for His work and bid them God speed. So New Hope has an open pulpit and we would love to hear your message if you have one that God has laid upon you. We are without a pastor at the present moment, but are grateful to the Lord for bringing us Bro. Norman and Bro. Roy to bring God’s word.
If you would like more information about New Hope or have a message on your heart please call Bro. Mike at 543-8526 or Bro. Lyndon at 250-8063.
Have a wonderful God blessed week!
