Mt. Tabor Church

Church began at 8:30 Christmas morning, with some Christmas carols from the congregation.

Brother Dennis read scripture fitting the communion service we had instead of regular church. This was a very holy service which was enjoyed by all present. After fellowship we were dismissed for the day. We appreciate those who got up extra early to show reverence to our Lord and Savior and celebrate the birth of the Christ child.

The church sang Happy Birthday for Kay Hutchison last Sunday.

Freeda Richards is doing better following her bout with double pneumonia. She spent Christmas with son, Keith, and family. Karl Richards and family will be coming to visit on Wednesday of this week. Lenore Burton and Betty Jenkins visited Freeda, Monday. Freeda was able to attend the Christmas program at Crosspoint Church, where great-grandson, Zach, was a participant.

Thursday evening, Wes and Pat Smith took Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock out to eat at a restaurant in the Norwood area.
