Jon Aaron Chlarson, 41 years, 8 months, and 10 days old, passed to heaven on Dec. 26, 2011 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.
Jon was born April 16, 1970 in Oceanport, N.J., to Karl and Reba (Jackson) Chlarson.
Jon and Cindy Johnson were united in marriage Dec. 3, 1994 and to this union four children were born.
Jon was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved football, playing practical jokes on family and friends, and he especially loved dinner parties with family and friends. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and love for his family.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springfield, Mo.
Jon was preceded in death by his father.
Jon is survived by his wife, Cindy Chlarson, of Springfield, Mo.; his children Clayton, Jessica, Quaid and Morgan, of the home. He is survived by five brothers and 10 sisters, Karl Chlarson, of Montana, Rowland Anselmo, of Illinois, Tim Olsen, of Kansas, Don Chlarson, of Montana, Scott Chlarson, of Arizona, Linda Murphy, of Texas, Geneva Morse, of Colorado, Polly Smith, of Arizona, Starla Chlarson, of Arizona, Marie Chlarson, of Arizona, Cara Chlarson, of Arizona, Valerie Barnett, of Oregon, Deana, of California, Lori, of Texas, and Jessie Ryan, of Arizona. Jon is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and will be missed by all.
Funeral services for Jon will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springfield, Mo., with burial following in the Brushyknob Cemetery at 1 p.m. Visitation will begin at 9 to service time the day of the funeral at the church. Officiating will be Bishop Mark Tuttle. Memorials may be made to the family as love offerings.
