Ken and Debbie Cederlind and Moe and Kaylynn Todd came down Saturday evening and stayed all night with Bonnie Phipps and then they all went out to Roy and Linda Freeman’s for Christmas. Those present for dinner and opening gifts were Bonnie Phipps, Cecilia Edwards, Ken and Debbie Cederlind, Moe and Kaylynn Todd, Michael and Wendee Freeman, Matthew, Madison, Sydnee and Alexis, Roy and Linda Sue Freeman. Ken, Debbie, Moe and Kaylynn all went back from home Sunday evening.
Tara and Jett were in my home last Monday.
I received one inch of rain last Tuesday. I took my news in that day and I dropped a Christmas gift off at Lora Kay Davis’, Anita Smith’s, Walley and Shirley Jessen’s and while I was in town I stopped by Marie Dickey’s before coming on home. That evening James came over and visited with me until Lakota got through practicing.
I finished the last of my four children’s cake for Christmas on Wednesday after I went to Bible Study.
I put my new Christmas tree up Thursday night and decorated on Friday night.
Kristie and Lakota came that day and so did Evelyn Bryan who dropped me off a Christmas gift and she said there were no nuts in them.
Saturday morning Nina Carter came by and picked up her FFA fruit that I was holding for her because Jim has been in the hospital, but is home now.
Sherry Blakey, Kelsey and Mark Weston came by Saturday morning and brought some eggs and Kelsey brought me a picture of herself and a present from her and Dustin and Mark Weston. Kelsey will be with her fiancee and his family this Christmas.
Chase Blakey and family came over after they left Anita Smith’s that afternoon and brought me my Christmas gift which was some pictures in a frame of the family and now it is on my wall.
Vernal and Ellen came down and spent the night with me Christmas Eve and we made homemade molasses taffy before we went to bed. Sunday morning when we got up Vernal and Ellen left about 8:30 to go back up to Springfield to be with her folks.
Those eating Christmas dinner with me were Joel and Monica Reems, Mark and Sherry Blakey, Mark Weston, Chad and Laura Blakey, Ellis and Marsha Blakey, Johnathan and Annie and Alexia, Lakota Blakey and Kendra Dering. James and Kristie Blakey came that evening and Lakota and Kendra came with them.
We have all our sick folks out of the hospital, but they and all the others need our prayers so keep them going. My sympathy and prayers go out to all who have lost a loved one.
