12-12-11. Well here we are just 11 days until Christmas. Are you ready? I’m not. Never have been, never will be. But I guess I’ll get by. Candi and Jarred got back from their trip to Missouri yesterday, so we came on home after that. We got there in East Moline on Monday and it was really cold so I didn’t go back out until Saturday. It was much warmer then. Its 42 degrees this morning. I didn’t even see anyone while there. Walt went by and got Rob and Sharon on Tuesday and they went shopping with him. I didn’t know Sharon was going or I probably would have went along as I haven’t seen her for a long time. I hope to see her and more people when we go back for Christmas. I’m still working on the gifts I’m making. We’ll have Christmas with Walt’s family while we’re there as as of now my family Christmas is planned for December 31st. So I have to be back in time for that. We will have to miss Mark and Connie Allison’s daughter’s wedding, but we probably couldn’t go anyway because of everything else going on this time of year. The long term weather forecast looks pretty good for everyone traveling around for our Christmas’s.
I have to go to Tipton today to get my mail and I should have a Douglas County Herald in there. Maybe two. They do work in mysterious ways at time I don’t get one for awhile then sometime I will get one one day and another the next. I’ve never gotten two on the same day yet, but won’t be surprised if that happens sometime. We’re seeing Cardinals around here again . I sure do love to see them. Sometimes in the summer one will be losing the feathers all over their head. I don’t know if birds moult or not, but they sure do look strange like that. And I don’t know if they die or just grow more feathers. I read in the paper that the cardinals are disappearing around here and not as many of them. I think maybe when the crop dusters are spraying the crops they maybe spray the birds as well. Just my opinion.
What’s the best think to take when run down? (The license number of the car.)
Take care of yourselves and bye, bye for now.
