Kenneth Lee Stout, 17, of Republic, Mo., passed away Dec. 15, 2011 in Ava, Mo.
Kenny was born Oct. 5, 1994 in Springfield, Mo., to Michael and Marianne McFarlin Stout. As a child growing up in Ava he enjoyed Mighty Mites football and in junior high was one of the leading tacklers.
His family moved to Republic two years ago were he built his own ’69 Ford 100 (Krazy Karla), which he liked cruising in with the street rods in the area. Kenny was baptized in 2001. Some of his favorite things were teasing his dad and playing with Cheech his dog, video games and his favorite dig on dad was “Remember old man I get to pick your nursing home.” Kenny loved working on cars and trucks and after high school he intended to join the Marines or go to mechanics school.
Kenny’s survivors include his parents; a brother and sister Chandler and Kym of the home; a niece Kadion “Bugg” Stout; maternal grandparents Otis and Sheila McFarlin, Ava; paternal grandparents Jim and Gala Stout, West Plains; paternal great-grandmother Dorothy Treese, Ozark; maternal great-grandmother Gerry DeGase, Ava; paternal great-grandmother Pearl Stout; uncle Roy Frye; and best friend Shon Gossett; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kenny was preceded by his paternal great-grandfather Kenneth Treese; paternal great-great-grandparents Glenn and Iris Frye; his paternal great-great-grandfather Byron Stout; his maternal great-great-grandparents Robert and Joyce McFarlin; and maternal great-great-grandfather Orville DeGase.
Funeral services for Kenny Stout were held on Monday Dec. 19, at 2 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, with Pastor Buddy Boyd officiating. Visitation was 1 p.m. till service time. Love offerings may be made to the family at the funeral home.
