Comstock and Sanders Win the Get5Bass Winter Series Tournament on Bull Shoals

Bobby Comstock and Mark Sanders topped 31 boats fishing the 3rd Get5Bass Winter Series Tournament in the Twin Lakes Division by catching five bass that weighed 18.97 pounds. The winter bite on Bull Shoals has begun with 21 5-bass limits being brought to the scales.
Here’s how the top three teams caught their bass:
1st – Bobby Comstock/Mark Sanders – 5 bass – 18.97 pounds – $1,000.
Bobby has been on a roll lately with three wins in the past month. All the winning sacks were over 18 pounds. He teamed up with Mark for this event. They reported catching their fish on grubs around points and bluff ends. They were fishing near the Lead Hill Area. In addition to their winnings, they also received a $250 gift certificate.
2nd – Trace Hannaford/Billy Cooley – 5 bass – 17.28 pounds – $560.
Trace and Billy reported catching their fish on a green gourd jig and custom painted crankbait.
3rd – Chris Adams and Larry Hurtt – 5 bass – 15.80 pounds – $400. Chris and Larry used the Alabama rig to catch their fish.
The rest of the money winners:
4th – Randy Zeigler/Tony Moser – 5 bass – 14.79 pounds – $320.
5th – Shane Porter/Shawn White – 5 bass – 14.47 pounds – $260.
6th – Josh Bradford/Clay Bradford – 5 bass – 14.10 pounds – $200.
7th – Jeff Johnson/Kurt Evans- 5 bass – 13.54 pounds – $160.
8th – Jacob Garrett/Robert Brunson – 5 bass – 13.08 pounds – $100.
Big Bass: Brian Cecelius/Kevin Henderson – 6.82 pounds – $100.
The next Twin Lake’s Division Tournament will be Jan. 7 on Norfork Lake.
