Pastor David opened Sunday school for Brother Roy Frye who was with family. Our hearts go out to the whole Stout family. He read Phillipians 4:15-20 for the devotion, took prayer request and dismissed us to classes.
Brother John Little took up the offering and Hunter, Zack, Reece and Blayne did the penny march for Camp Piland.
Austin Maggard sang a special for us. Hunter Adams, Dailyn Stanifer and Blayne Mendel also sang for us.
Pastor David sang then preached from Luke 2:1-7. The children wrapped gifts for their parents. We then had lunch and practiced the program once more.
We presented the Christmas Program Sunday afternoon. The children did a wonderful job. We appreciate them and all the helpers so very much. We are very blessed at Black Oak. Everyone received a goody bag and jingle bell necklace. Remember to jingle for Jesus this year.
We dimissed our evening service. Please pray for the bereaved, lost, unspoken, travelers, military, country and each other.
We will be having a worship service at 10:00 a.m. Christmas Day beause it is about Him! Join us if you can.
