Mr. Williams was unable to attend last week’s meeting with the December “Citizens of the Month”, however, Calen VanNess who is a teacher and Key Club sponsor brought them, so that was great. We look forward to working with Mr. VanNess and Key Club.
After the meeting, Pebbles, Glenda and Donna picked up Christmas Toy Drive and color book money from Ozark Family Vision Center and left them at Connie’s to sort through for our Christmas families.
Glenda, Donna and Connie did all the sorting, shopping and wrapping for Christmas For Kids on Monday and Tuesday was set for deliveries.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not be having a noon meeting on Thursday, December 22. Instead, we will be having a Christmas Social beginning at 6 p.m. at Sonshine Cafe. Members and their families are invited to attend.
We are actively pursuing new membership! We are conducting a club membership contest which runs through today (Dec. 22). The member who gets the most recruits to sign up with a paid membership will receive a $50 gift card. Once a recruit is signed up with that paid membership, he or she will then be allowed to enter the contest and be in the running for the $50 gift card.
