Citizens of the Month for December are George Creson and Jessica Eggleston. The character word for December is “Compassion.”

George Creson, son of Delona Beckley and George Creson Sr., is a junior at Ava High School.  He is involved in FFA.

George’s teacher said, “I have never met a more compassionate young man.  The kids love George, because George loves them!  He is there to help with anything they need. George is a very nice kid and a friend to everyone.

He is the most polite person for his age.”

Jessica Eggleston, senior at Ava High School, is the daughter of Jeff and Kelly Eggleston. She is involved in NHS, TREND, Pep Club, Sound and Tech, Drama Club, Thespian Society, and Chamber Choir.  She plans to attend MSU and major in wildlife biology and photography.  She is also interested in NOLS through the University of Utah.

Jessica’s teacher said, “She recently helped an elderly woman who needed help with yard work.  She spent hours raking, sacking, and hauling off leaves.  She also donates time trying to find homes for dogs that she rescues from the pound and service to Convoy of Hope.”
