Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer of Troop G, Willow Springs, announces that troopers assigned to Troop G will conduct special operations targeting intoxicated drivers in Texas County sometime in the month of December.
The goal of these special operations is to remove careless and intoxicated drivers from Missouri’s highways. Operations such as these are conducted at various locations which have been found to experience a higher than normal number of alcohol-related contacts, hazardous driving contacts, and traffic crashes.
Captain Isringhausen says, “Unfortunately, the holiday season is a time of year when we often see an increase in alcohol- and drug-related traffic offenses. Our troopers are committed to making our roads as safe as possible by aggressively enforcing the law.”
