Our Sunday morning worship started off with Joie Welker leading us in prayer.
After singing in Sunday school class we studied about God’s promises to Abraham. He would have many descendants and be a great nation. God’s promises are true and Abraham had faith and trust in God. Let Abraham be your encouragement when you face life, trust God, not yourself.
Happy Birthday wishes go out to George Welker.
Happy Anniversary wishes goes out to Dewayne and Cindy Young.
Best wishes goes out to little Blaze Marin as he received a little children’s Bible for his perfect attendance.
Harley and Faye Allen had 18 family members at their home Saturday for a Christmas program and practice and also a reminder that Friday night., December 16, at 7 p.m. is our Christmas program and again on Sunday December 18 at 10:30 a.m.
Remember to bring food for our food basket so we can help some families.
We had many prayer requests, remember Jeannie and Crystal Lee families and also for Elaine Coonts as she just found out she has leukemia and is in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis and also remember Joan Burkdoll as her brother passed away. Only God gives us hope and comfort.
Our special song and reading was by Narvil Tetrick and Janice Young.
The morning message by Pastor Riley Hall was from Malachi 3:18 & 4:1-2, “Don’t Just Star Gaze At Bethelehem.” The wise men seen the star and was led to our Saviour. We look to the heavens for hope, turn your eyes on Jesus this Christmas and toward Heaven for your faith and trust.
