Chad Alan Lee, 34 years, 8 months, and 4 days old, passed to heaven on Dec. 5, 2011 at Seymour, Mo.
Chad was born April 1, 1977 in Springfield, Mo., to Gary and Delores (Wright) Lee. He was a graduate of Ava High School.
Chad was a lifelong resident of the Ava community. He was employed with Seymour Road District as a road grader operator.
On April 5, 1996 Chad and Crystal Stephens were united in marriage at Ava, Mo., and to this union two children were born.
He was a Christian and had been attending the Life Church in Ava.
Chad loved being in the outdoors, team roping and attending Ava sporting events. He was proud of being a resident of Ava and was friends with everyone! He adored and loved being with his family. He especially liked running the grader and meeting the people along the route.
His fascination with the cell phone allowed him to know everything all the time. One thing to remember about Chad was he never told a lie, he was just inclined to exaggerate the truth. Chad was a super husband, dad and son!
Chad was preceded in death by his father, Gary Lee; his stepfather, Joe “Pete” Miller; a nephew, Brady Lee, and niece, Cati Stephens; along with his paternal grand-parents and maternal grandmother.
Chad is survived by his wife, Crystal Lee, of the home; two children, Camryn and Caden, also of the home in Ava; his mother, Jeannie Miller, Ava, Mo.; his stepmother, Judy Lee, Seymour, Mo.; maternal grandfather, Bill Wright, Ozark, Mo.; mother-in-law, DormaLee Stephens, Ava, Mo.; brother, Tim Lee and daughter, Bailey, Ava, Mo.; brother- and sisters-in-law, Bob and Mona Stephens, Rosalee and Jr. Tate, Bev and Gary Schillinger, Randy and Tina Stephens, Melissa and Bryan Litwiller; stepbrothers and sisters, Dewayne and Karen Ducker, Rhonda and Ken Laub, Bobbie and Larry Miller; nieces and nephews, Candice, Meleata, Jayme, Amber, Kyle, Miranda, James, Blake, Jacob, Alanna, Dewayne Jr., Donovan, David, Kaelynn, Candace, Kahli, Kristina, Nick and Brandon.
Funeral services for Chad and Gary, his father, will be Friday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Lee Cemetery at Dogwood.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Freeman.
