JEFFERSON CITY – Michael Luerssen of Cabool, Mo., has been appointed to Missouri Farm Bureau’s Promotion and Education (P&E) Committee.
His appointment to the P&E committee was announced at Missouri Farm Bureau’s annual meeting Dec. 5 at the Lake of the Ozarks. Luerssen represents District 8 in the south central area of the state. As a member of the 10-person committee, he will help develop, implement and evaluate projects and programs that promote agriculture. He is currently Texas County Farm Bureau P&E chair and has served on the Missouri Farm Bureau Forestry Advisory Committee. His family was active in the Illinois Farm Bureau before moving to Texas County. Luerssen is a Cabool School Board member. He enjoys acting in productions at the community theatre.
