On Tuesday, Dec. 6, during Law Day, Judge John Moody sentenced two people to prison for drug offenses.
Leanna Hampton, 27, of Ava, was sentenced to seven years in prison for possession of a controlled substance after the judge revoked her probation due to violation reports from Probation and Parole authorities.
This sentence will run concurrently to the Taney County sentence she is currently serving.
Steven Olmstead, 27, of Dora, was sentenced to four years in prison for possession of drug paraphernalia for events that occurred Aug. 12, 2010, in Douglas County.
