After congregational singing, in our Sunday school class, we studied how God chose Abraham and his descendants would be blessed and become a great nation because of his obedience.

Our Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner was well attended Saturday night. It was nice to have Ronnie and Nancy Breshears and Rick and Darlene Allen joining us.
Next Sunday night, December 11th we will have an activity meeting at 5 p.m. to help prepare for activities for the coming year then night service afterwards at 6 p.m.
Sheila Miller took Glenda Miller to Springfield last week for cataract surgery and she is doing well.
Gentry Church hosted a wedding last Saturday for Micca Marin and Bobby Howard. She made a lovely bride and congratulations to them as they enter into their new life together. Also congratulations to little Blaze Marin for four months of perfect Sunday school attendance.

Pastor Hall’s morning message was from Romans 14:5-6. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord. The world leaves Christ out of Christmas, let us Christians honor this Christmas with worship and celebrate the birth of Jesus and have a great time.
We invite everyone to our Christmas program Friday night the 16th at 7 p.m. and again Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. on the 18th. The youth group will be performing on the bells. Their ages range from 2 years old to 12 years old.

Bro. Hall’s evening message was from Hebrews 9:11-22. Our hope is found throught the blood of Christ. We have two choices, the blood of Christ or outer darkness. We have to be washed in the blood, it cleanses us from all sin. We can be joint heirs with Him. God bless.
