December 4- Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone to services. Prayer requests and praise reports were taken. We have many concerns and blessings. Sis. Lorrinda Coulter led in prayer. Jack read Hebrews 6:13-20 for our devotion. Testimonies were given by Lorrinda Coulter, Jeff Shipley, Laurena Mitchell, Jenna Mills, Venessa Mills and Melba Austin.
Praise and Worship began with singing. Specials were sung by Jim Lafferty and Melissa Harmon. Pastor Bill Austin spoke this Sunday morning from Galatians 6:7-9 and Isaiah 40:28-31. It’s great when we are discouraged to have someone come along to encourage and pray for us. Encourage and pray for others. Do good to them and God will bless.
Sunday night services began with singing led by Bro. Hi. Bro. Jeff took prayer requests. Several have lost loved ones lately. Lots of unspoken requests were given. Sis. Lila led us in prayer. Our church sure looks beautiful. Sister Venessa and Jenna have done lots of decorating for Christmas. We appreciate everything that anyone does for the church and the Lord always blesses willing workers. Bro. Jim brought our message tonight. He took his thought from Isaiah 9:8-21. We sure enjoyed this message. Our leader next Wednesday night will be Bro. Jeff. We were dismissed in prayer by Sis. Doris.
