November is going out with cooler and rainy weather this week.
Keith and Katrina Davis had Saturday lunch at Dave and Karen Davis’ home.

On Thanksgiving Day Paralee Rea went to her nieces, Sue Newtons’ and Sue’s son, Robb, and wife, Kerri were there from Brooklyn, New York. Paralee said it was her first experience eating deep fat fried turkey and it was delicious.
Durel Newton and wife, Carolyn, were there from Mountain Home that afternoon.
Paralee said she brought a “care package” home with her. On Sunday she had a phone conversation with Marcella Davis in Quincy, Illinois.
Doris Douglas surely had a nice celebration of her 90th birthday Saturday. I was sorry I couldn’t make it, but sent her a card. We wish her many more.

Bob and Betty Arnett attended the wedding of a granddaughter at Mansfield Saturday.
There will be a Community Choir Cantata at Lilly Ridge at 2:00 p.m. next Sunday, December 4th. Our church also has the nursing home service at 4:00 p.m.
On December 11th there will be a Christmas program at Lilly Ridge.
Mearl and Beulah Satterfield and I were shopping in West Plains one day last week.
Joe and Ernestine Gaddy spent Thanksgiving at daughter, Tammy Childress and husband’s home in Jefferson City then all of them went to Kansas City to Lee and Theresa Bridges home Saturday. There were 13 of the family together there.
Jean Suman had her children home over Thanksgiving. Her daughter, Gena and family and son, Todd and family.
This Monday our sheriff celebrates another birthday I have heard.To make it special a birthday fairy made him a peanut butter pie so I think he will enjoy getting a year older.
Richard and Rene Blackburn had their daughter and family and a granddaughter and friend from Wisconsin visiting over Thanksgiving.
Shirley Sisney celebrated a birthday on Sunday. Her son, Jimmy Lane, from Shirley, Arkansas visited her and Junior over Thanksgiving weekend. We wish her more happy birthdays.
Mearl and Beulah Satterfield had Thanksgiving at their home near Sparta with Roger and Karen’s families present.
Warren and Neoma Moody, Dan and Arreaun and Kimberley Moody, and daughters, Lisa and Nicole and their families all went to Dustin and Stephanie Tackitt’s home for Thanksgiving near West Plains. Matthews’ family were unable to be there because of having company themselves, in their home.
