Sunday morning prayer requests were taken then prayer. The Praise Team did an awesome job of singing praise songs.
Brother Roberts brought the morning message from Acts 12:1-16, “What Happens When A Church Prays Together.”
Brother Cody Prock brought the evening devotion from Isaiah 56:1-12, about the power of prayer.
Debbie Coble gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. We are anxious to meet the new arrival.
David Mackey spent Thanksgiving week with his family, Kirby and Mary Mackey, Bryan, Karen and Lauren Etheridge. Delores Etheridge spent Thursday through Saturday with Bryan, Karen and Lauren Etheridge. Visitors of the Mackeys for Thanksgiving dinner besides David, Bryan, Karen, Lauren and Delores Etheridge, were Don and Carole Walker, Charlotte Spiva of Mtn. Grove, John and Judy Killingsworth, Tim and Hillary Mumaw and Jake Spiva of Springfield, Nathan Ames and family of Republic.
Visitors of Kirby, Mary and David Mackey on Friday was Ray Cunningham and son, Joe, who was visiting his parents from Dallas, Texas. Friday night and Saturday morning for breakfast guests of Kirby and Mary Mackey were David Mackey, Bryan, Karen and Lauren Etheridge, and Delores Etheridge.
Visiting Bob and Nora Edwards during the week were Toby, Jacinda and Dallee Sheppard, Kendra and Shelden Walker, Mary Mackey and Dianna Bernhard.
Dianna Bernhard and daughters, Caitlyn and Cassidy spent Thanksgiving holiday from Wednesday until Sunday with Jerry and Suanne Sutherland.
Having Sunday dinner with Toby and Jacinda Sheppard, Kendra and Shelden were Bob and Nora Edwards, Miranda Milligan and Alexis Swearengin.
Visitors in the home of Delmar and Margaret Rosseau were Bevy Moore, Donna Bannister, Tabitha, Raylee and Caydee Burton, Earnie and Helen Cook, Pauline Okhuysen, Matt, Clarica and Merrilee Michael, Beth Stafford and Johnathan Snelson, Frank and Shelby Moon, of New Mexico.
On Thursday, Delmar and I had Thanksgiving dinner with Keith and Donna Bannister, Shawn, Summer and Caidence Johnson and Charles Bannister, then we went to the home Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams and visited awhile then went to the home of Gary and Bevy Moore and enjoyed a Thanksgiving supper with them and Raylee and Caydee Burton and Clint Moore.
I talked to Aunt Violet Morris and wished them a Happy Thanksgiving. She told me they had a really nice surprise one day last week when their grandson, his wife and their son came to visit them their names are Lock, Amber and Garin Morris and their former daughter-in-law Kathy Teeter.
