Last Weeks News – We are getting a good rain shower this Sunday night as I write this. We have had the most beautiful fall I can remember.

Karen Collins had the misfortune of falling recently and breaking a wrist. She is doing okay now.

Last Sunday after church Ann Collins and Ella May Daugherty ate at Rockbridge and then visited Ada Beard awhile Sunday evening.

Agnes Williams and Janet Smith visited me briefly Wednesday evening and then Thursday Agnes and Karen Frederick came over. Karen mowed my yard and chipped up the leaves, but I’ve still got green grass too. They stayed and had lunch with me.

Saturday evening Pat, Lucy and Olivia Daugherty of Spring Hill, Tennessee stopped by. They went on to Andy and Sharlene Daugherty at Grovespring. They (Pat and Andy) are deer hunting a little. They will stay until Friday.

Dwayne Sparks had a family gathering at his home Saturday night. A total of 42 relatives in all.

We had good church services Sunday not many out but we enjoyed it anyway.

My deepest sympathy is extended to the Solomon family in the loss of their son.

Lets all take some time to give thanks this week for all our many blessings.

Wishing everyone a good Thanksgiving with family and lots to eat. Until next time, God bless us all.

This Weeks News – Didn’t get my items in so will add some for this week.Well it’s almost December and feels like it this Monday morning.

I felt blessed this Thanksgiving  as I had my  three daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren all for dinner at the home of Tracy and David Griffith at Thornfield. Debbie and Shelby brought me and then visited Wilburn and Louise Hutchison on their way home.

Carol Wise and Riley O’Shea of Springfield came down on Wednesday and stayed until Saturday at the home of Ann Collins. Chris Hartzell joined them for Thanksgiving dinner then Friday they picked Issac Collins up in Mountain Grove and he stayed until Saturday.
