Sunday, November 27 – Greetings in Jesus name. I hope everyone had a great week.
This time of year in the hurry and scurry of baking, shopping and the endless lists to fill do we take time to remember what we are celebrating?
Prayer requests for this morning were Wanda Cox, Bill Bolding, Donna Dickerson, Zelda, John and Lauren and Meagan’s Mom.
Our country needs unending prayer, if my people which are called by my name is very much in need.
The morning message started in Romans 1:16 and the title was Three Stages of Salvation.
The evening service was great. The song service was very good with a few testimonies.
Special singing was by Bevy, Missy and Betty, the “new” Church of the Living God trio and Missy sang a solo also.
The message was II Peter 3:8-11. Read that chapter, the Lord is not slack concerning His promises, He is long suffering, not willing that any should perish, that all should come to repentance, but we have to do our part.
We prepare and anticipate, shop, run around doing this and that, how do we prepare to meet the coming of Jesus. Read II Peter 3:12.
Come join us at the corner of N.W. 6th Ave. and N.W. 7th St. if you don’t have a home church. Gary Moore and wife, Bevy, are the pastors – 683-6547 or 683-8106.
Thought for the day, where is your Christianity on Monday morning?
