Opening Sunday school Roy Hampton read St. John 4:13 and said the prayer.
Lee Hampton taught the lesson in St. John 10. We had questions for next week. Wilma Hampton still wasn’t in attendance. We really need to pray for her. Lee Hampton led the offering prayer. Roy Hampton took up offering. We didn’t have very many in attendance. I guess too much turkey. We had congegational singing and Sue Sico did a special. Joe Lafferty preached on the fifth chapter of I Peter and led in prayer. The subject title was “Casting all your care upon Him” for He careth for you and also feed the flock which is among you and when the chief shepherd shall appear ye shall receive a crown of glory, that fadeth not away.” What a comforting chapter for the saints of God.
I sang an invitational song and were dismissed in prayer by Bro. Lee Hampton. We had the Fourth Sunday Singing at Ava General Baptist Church. We had a real good fellowship. We were disimissed for Sunday night services.
Don’t forget the Tag That Preacher services at Breedon on Saturday, December 3 at 6:00 p.m. beginning with musicians and singing then preaching at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
