“When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord they God for the good land which he hath given thee,” Deuteronomy 8:10.
Pastor David opened Sunday school after we all sang. We sure missed Brother Roy and others who were gone. Pastor David read Psalm 37:1-8 for the devotion, prayed for the prayer requests and dismissed us to class.
The children studied about being fishers of men.
Please pray for Betty Satterfield, Ethyl Versaw, Bessie Hall, Dana Brazeal and family, Tiffany and Zoe, Tom Elliott, Sue Thomas, unsaved, unspoken, country and leaders and each other.
Brother John Little took up the tithes and offerings. Liviya, Hunter,Blayne, Reece and Hope all did the penny march for Camp Piland. We do so appreciate all of our helpers.
Austin Maggard sang a special for us. Sara Maggard recited a verse for us. Great job.
Pastor David sang then preached a very good message on being thankful. He read from I Thess. 5:18, Luke 17, Psalms 100:4, Colossians 1:12 and 3:13, Deuteronomy 8:10 and Luke 17. Read them and you will enjoy them. We have so much to be thankful for.
Sunday evening was our singing night. We enjoyed the congregational singing along with specials from Ella Faye Mitchell, the children and Pastor David. We had lots of good testimonies.
Upcoming events include Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner December 11 following the morning services and dismiss that evening. December 18 at 2:00 p.m. will be our Christmas program and dismiss that evening. December 25 we will have a special service at 10:00 a.m. and dismiss the evening service.
We will study Ezekiel 14 Wednesday evening.
