A rose goes out to the veterans who came together at the Ava Cemetery on Veterans Day, set aside to honor all veterans who graciously served and gave their lives for us to enjoy.
I was unable to attend due to a doctor’s appointment. I was grateful to our local radio station KKOZ for providing a live broadcast making it available to hear. Well done.
My heart was touched as I recalled my brothers and cousins who fought in World War II and were able to return home. Let us not forget our present military who are serving our country providing a wonderful land to live in.
