Last week Ava Victory Academy High School students were acknowledged for academic achievements. The students were awarded a "Maroon" card for a grade point average of 3.0-3.5, or a "Gold" card for a GPA of 3.6-4.0. Receiving a maroon card was Ethan Potter, 2nd row, far left, and Hunter Scoville (not pictured). The remaining students shown above received a gold card, and they are Jonathon Shearer, LacyLee Shahan, Jaki Breland, Sarah Posey, Camille Kjar, McKenzie Matlock, Ciera McCoy, Emily Tredway, and Nike Walker.
