Opening Sunday school Roy Hampton read the 21st chapter of Proverbs, verse 8-12 and led in prayer.
Lee Hampton taught our lesson in the book of St. John the 9th chapter. Jesus heals the blind man. We always have a good discussion on our lessons. Roy Hampton took up the morning offering. Clara Lafferty led the offering prayer.
We had congregational singing. Susie Sisco sang a special. Joe Lafferty preached on the 23rd Psalms and led in prayer. We sang our invitational song and Roy Hampton dismissed in prayer.
Evening service started with congregational singing. Sue Sisco sang a special. Joe Lafferty preached the service from Acts, chapter 1. Roy Hampton preached in Mark 7:14 and several more references. We were few in number, but had a good service. Some are still deer hunting.
We hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving. We sometimes slack off, but we are thankful for our blessings.
