Rick Batten: 1st Corinthians 1:17 and 14:8-9; Exodus 20:18-20; Matthew 24; and Isaiah 40:25-26. “God may not be easy to understand, but it is not hard to be a Christian.” Bro. Rick explained that in the past, man did not always have the word of God. In pre-Bible times, people did things to please God. They seemed to know what to do. We can get back to basics to love and please God by doing a few things: (1) look to God and realize he is the Authority; (2) fear God and keep his commandments; (3) reverence God-realize God is still in control, no matter what happens on this earth.
Bro. Rick told us all to think about the beauty in God’s world.
Today we had Charles and Norma Horton as guests.
