Dane Marshall Solomon, 13 years, passed to heaven on Nov. 13, 2011 at Ava, Mo.
Dane was born April 4, 1998 in Springfield, Mo., to Marty and Marla (Graham) Solomon.
Dane was a lifelong resident of the Ava community. He was a student at the Skyline R-2 School at Norwood, Mo. He was a Christian and had been faithfully attending the Ava Assembly of God Church. Dane loved being active in football, basketball, wrestling with his little brother, Mason, hunting, fishing, canoeing, camping and teasing his sister, Kelsea. Dane had such a joy for life and never knew a stranger.
He loved people and they did him.
Dane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Leora Graham and great-grandmother, Opal Johnson.
Dane is survived by his parents, Marty and Marla Solomon, Ava, Mo.; one sister, Kelsea Rush, and one brother, Mason Solomon, both of the home; his grandparents, Billy Joe Solomon, Mtn. Grove, Mo., Wasene Solomon, Ava, Mo.; aunts and uncles, Marsha and Gary Hutchison, Mike Graham, Tina and Ray Grooms, Angela and Matthew Woods, Dean Current; many cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Dane were Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Sweden Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating were Pastor Buddy Boyd and Pastor Ron Wallace. Memorials may be made to Sweden Cemetery.
