On Sunday several family members and friends were at Pizza Hut for a party for Lane and Ralissa Watkins’ birthdays. A good time was had by all. The party was given by Mom and Dad, Arlen “Bud” and Peggy Watkins. Jerry Lee and Kim Watkins had good luck on Saturday. They both got their deer. Jerry shot a buck and Kim a doe. They got them at the farm at West Dogwood.
Norma Jones spent Friday night until Sunday morning at the farm with Naomi, Amy June and Jacob Watkins.
This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. Visitors of Fae have been Lois Graham, Juanita Dougherty, Evelyn Witchey and Wanda Hutchinson. Evelyn and Wanda came by on their way to the funeral of Elwood Williams. Fae and Evelyn had lunch at K.F.C. and then went shopping in the afternoon.
Visitors of Norma Jones have been Arlen, Derek, Naomi and Jacob Watkins and Christina. Phone calls were also received from Robin and family to check on Norma and also Lois Graham.
