Well, what an awesome day! One that the Lord had made special for us.
The winds makes us think it might be March, but it’s almost Thanksgiving and we’ve got lots ot be thankful for.
We had good services at Frye Church this morning. Bro. Donnie had a good message for us.
We missed Pat and Gaither sure hope everything is going good with them.
I drove down and visited with Darrel and Audean this evening. Kelly was there to do the milking.
I got home and found the living room full of young folks playing games and having a good time.
Ken came down and visited and helped Roger cut some lumber on Saturday. I enjoyed cooking dinner for them.
Well I’m trying not to question this weather, but I’m still having ripe tomatoes and banana peppers off the vine in my raised bed garden. Roger came in with four ripe tomatoes and told me he can probably pick more by Thanksgiving. The vines are still loaded with blooms.
Well, no deer taken on our hillside. I think they’re waiting for that one with a great big rack and that hasn’t happened yet.
Randee Jo came yesterday driving a new car, way to go Randee Jo!
I saw Bro. Jim Sallee’s picture in the paper last week. He was 100 today. That’s wonderful. He had preached a lot of good sermons.
I’m working on a special quilt for a special little guy. I hope to get it finished this week. He has asked me “Grandma when are you going to make me a pretty quilt?” So that’s all it took and it’s stitched with lots of love!
Well not much news here so until next time enjoy this weather and remember God loves you. Remember to pray for our boys and girls in the military.
