Roy Hampton opened Sunday school reading Matthew 9:37-38 and led in prayer.
Lee Hampton taught the 8th chapter of St. John’s for our lesson, women takien in adultery. Jesus said He that is without sin among you, let him cast a stone at her. When they all left, Jesus asked her where are all your accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? Jesus said unto her, neither do I condemn thee, go and sin no more. We had questions and answers and new questions for next week. Lee Hampton led the offering prayer. Roy Hampton took up the offering. We had testimonies and prayer requests. We had congregational singing. Susie Sisco did a special. The preaching hour Joe Lafferty’s text was from the 17th chapter of St. John, the 12th verse, and he then led in prayer. We sang an invitational song. Roy Hampton dismissed the service in prayer.
Evening service started with singing. Lee Hampton talked on Matthew chapter 1 verse 18, “Birth of Jesus.” Roy Hampton read and talked on the second chapter of Daniel and the 42nd verse and Daniel 3:15, three men in a furnace and a fourth appeared with Meshack, Shadrack and Adednego. We had testimonies. Joe Lafferty dismissed in prayer.
Saturday, November 19, Breedon will have breakfast for the deer hunters and also take up donations for some needy people for Thanksgiving and also canned goods for our baskets for people that need food for Thanksgving.
