“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever,” Psalm 23:6.
Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we all sang. Pastor David prayed for the request. Brother Roy read (without glasses) Matthew 22:34-40 for the devotion then dismissed us to class.
We praised God for Brother Roy’s eyes getting better and for good reports from Kathy and Anna on their cancer.
Please pray for Dara Strong and family, Dana Brazeal and family, Crystal Lee, Jeannie Miller, Tom Gunter, Sue Thomas, Tom Elliott, Bessie Hall, Wanda Goss and family, special unspoken, unsaved, all bereaved, especially the Solomon family, country and leaders, military and each other.
The children studied about Jonah in Sunday school.
Brother Bobby Turley took up the church offering. Hunter, Quin, Macee and Hope all did the penny march for Camp Piland.
Austin Maggard sang a special for us. Pastor David sang then preached from Psalm 1:1-6 on how blessed we are as Christians and the difference between saints and sinners.
Sunday evening specials were by Ella Faye Mitchell and Pastor David, We had several testimonies.
Pastor David preached from Revelation 3:14-22, Christ knows our works. He knows if we are hot or cold or lukewarm. We may be rich in material things, but our spiritual life is so much more important. Don’t forget about Jesus and what He had done for us and don’t forget about the work He needs us to do for Him. We must be on fire for Him. Don’t put it off: He loves us but we never know when it might be too late.
We love you all too much to not tell you to keep walking with Him and pray He will bless you always.
