Arno

Carol Moore came and got me last Monday. We then went over and picked up Marie Dickey. After that we went over to the lodge hall for our O.E.S meeting.

Last Monday I received a half an inch of rain in my gage, three and one-tenths of an inch last Tuesday and one-tenth of an inch on Wednesday.

Tara, Jett and Justin were here last Tuesday and George and Violet Blakey came by and picked up some eggs.

Last week I was making pear honey.

Wednesday I went by Marie Dickey’s before I went and had my hair cut.

The phone man came to see what my trouble was at my house and I wasn’t home and he left me a note and said his name was Billy Long. I wish I had been here when he came, but I called him and we had a long chat about the weather.

Those visiting in my home Thursday were Tara, Jett, James and George and Violet.

That night Carol Moore, Marie Dickey, Doris Morrison and Hellen Blakey all went to Mountain Grove to the O.E.S. Installation of Officers for this year.

Monica came up Friday and Saturday and helped me with my garage sale. The sale didn’t do to well. I guess it was because it was too cold and windy.

Marie Dickey and Carol Moore went to Mountain Grove to the Sunny Side Café to the Past Matron and Past Patron meeting Saturday night.

I didn’t make it to church Sunday because my neck was hurting and  I took some pain pills and went to sleep. When I woke up at noon I fixed me something to eat and Laura Blakey came by and I fixed her a salad and we ate and talked. She said the others at Mark’s house were cutting deers and grinding them up so she came to visit with Granny Hellen. That was nice because we don’t get to do that often. Violet came by while she was here and I introduced her to Laura.

Lets keep those prayers going for our sick folks because there are lots of our church family that are sick.

Prayers and sympathy for the ones who have lost a loved one.

Keep praying for our Nation and our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training.
