Sympathy to Harlan Davis family. I will always remember him singing the song, “That Long Black Train.”

Last week we visited with Gary’s mother, Maxine Turner, in the Ava Nursing Home and Gary’s aunt, Barb Short.

I visited last Friday with Rayford and Freda Clayton.

My condolences to Max Roberts family. Max and Linda have been neighbors for years.

Condolences also to Dusty Dobbs Wolfenbarger family.

Gary’s mother, Maxine Turner, was home Friday when we went by her home.

I went with our daughter, Honie Johnson, Thursday to Gainesville to the dentist, Dr. Klayman. After we got back home she had dinner with us.

Friday, Gary and I worked in getting wood on the porch all afternoon.

Instead of driving to Theodosia to church I thought I would go to Oak Grove Church Sunday night. I thought I wouldn’t see so many deers on the road and if the pickup quit me, I wouldn’t be far from home. But after waiting awhile I figured they must not be having any so back home I came.

Have a great week.
