On Tuesday, Nov. 8, during November law day, Circuit Judge John Moody sentenced three individuals to prison on Douglas County offenses.
Stanley Lakey, 46, Ava, was sentenced to two years in prison for DWI-persistent offender for a traffic stop that occurred on April 28, 2011.
Michael Spicer, 32, of Mtn. Grove, was sentenced to two years in prison for violating his probation. Spicer was originally sentenced on Oct. 4 for possession of methamphetamine precursors but violated his probation six days later on Oct. 10.
Timothy Rowland, 41, Ava, was sentenced to five years in prison for violating his probation. Rowland was originally sentenced on Sept. 15, 2010, for production of a controlled substance for offenses occurring March 20, 2010.
Rowland also pleaded guilty to the charge of damage to jail property for offenses occurring on Aug. 13, 2011, and was sentenced to four years in prison, which will run concurrently to the probation case.
