Sandy

As always prayer needs were given.  Among those were for Larry Hampton, Harold Menzies, Tammy Call, Don and Pat Dobbs, Randy Dalton in revival this week and lost loved ones.  Doyle Humbyrd prayed this prayer and we stood to read our devotional from Psalm 32.

Happy birthday was sung to Andrew Dalton, who will be eight years old.  Van Menzies prayed the offertory prayer as he and Danny Johnson received our Lord’s tithes and offerings.

Eldon Hodges brought a song to be played by Aaron Humbyrd called, “One Set of Footprints”.

Pastor Neal read from Luke 11.  Jesus was casting out a dumb spirit.  At the touch of Jesus the evil spirit spoke and the people wondered.  Let us not allow Satan to close our mouth, eyes and ears.  We were dismissed in prayer by Aaron Dalton.

At 6 p.m. we began with singing.  Special music was done by Erin and Shelby with LeaAnn at the piano.

Scriptures were shared and a prayer requests was given for Stan, Kim and Dane Humbyrd, who will be traveling this week to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

Pastor Neal prayed and continued to read in Luke 11.  Jesus talked about the evil generation seeking a sign.  He then pronounced six woes into them.  They then laid wait for Him trying to catch something to which they could accuse Him.

We were dismissed by Van Menzies.

Tuesday at 7 p.m. is special prayer services and Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible study from Exodus.

Next Saturday, November 12, will be the annual hunter’s chili day.  All donations will be going to missions.

Next Sunday will be our monthly fellowship dinner and Brother Al will be with us telling about the mission trip to Africa in which he and Pastor Neal will be going.

We invite you to come and be with us if you need a loving church family and home.  May God bless.
