Red Bud News

A good morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a safe and good weekend.

A lot of rain came on Tuesday that was very much needed.

The village rung with music on Sunday afternoon as the Faith Rock Church came and had a sing-a-long with us. Our hats are off to them for the blessing that we received. And to Loretta for reading the word of God to us.

We send get well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.

Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We say Happy Birthday to all who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come.

We want to say welcome to our new neighbors. I hope you enjoy it here as well as I do.

No news turned in this week so here I am again out on a limb and wondering what way to fall.

Those visiting Norma Jones this past week are Peggy Greene on Sunday, Naomi and Jacob Watkins on Monday and Derek Watkins and Christina have stopped by three different times. It is always good to have them visit. I also have phone calls from Robin, who was checking on me.

Peggy Greene brought her guitar and joined the sing-a-long on Sunday. We were glad to have her join our group as she led the song that we sing. Our hat is off to her. She did a great job leading us as we sing with her. Also Lena blessed us with a beautiful song that she sang. I don’t remember the name of it.

If you have news just let us know.

We want to say thank you for the produce that was left on the table for us to share. May God richly bless you for your sharing. I’ll sign off with this – remember we are just a seed until we grow to be a tree.
